Marpe Tanaka

Innovation Lead [Parental leave]

[Parental leave] Marpe is Innovation Lead and Case Coordinator. He has academic degrees in industrial design as well as development studies from Lund University. After running his own companies and working as a field logistician for MSF he has been working with the MSF Sweden Innovation Unit since the beginning of 2012. His work within the MSF Sweden Innovation Unit has included everything from outlining strategies and method development to working with specific cases dealing with everything from cold chain indicators to autoclaves. He has a strong interest in sustainable solutions and innovations within the humanitarian context with focus on human-centred approaches.
