OUR APPROACH

Human-centered innovation

At the SIU, we practice a human-centered design approach to innovation projects. This means that we always put end-users first and ensure the needs are properly researched, understood and analysed as the first stage of any project.

HUMANS We deploy a human-centred innovation approach, involving a wide range of stakeholders to explore challenges and opportunities facing MSF in the field.

Our Innovation Process

Our innovation process is split in to three overarching stages: initiation, development and implementation.

Through the nine sub-stages, our process allows for solutions that both suitable for their context and users. Through repeated re-iteration, the product moves away from solutions that are generalised and towards context-specific technology.
